In the Press

House of Benny was featured in the Pasadena Star News. Here are some excerpts:

"It's hard not to smile when you say, "House of Benny."

"If a restaurant is called "House of" I feel secure that I'll eat well. And at House of Benny, I certainly did."

"If you have a hankering for a classic pupu platter, get the appetizer plate of fried shrimp, barbequed ribs, fried wontons, paper wrapped chicken and egg rolls - a plate of tastes that take me straight back to my youth, complete with plum sauce and hot mustard."

Benny was featured in the San Gabriel Valley Tribune:

"When Benny Ng joined his older brother working part-time at a restaurant, he never imagined it would turn into his life's work.

The Hong Kong native began working at the House of Louie Chinese restaurant when he was just 18 years old. Part-time weekend work turned to full-time work, and after a few years, he became manager at the West Covina restaurant.

Now, at 49, Ng has opened his own restaurant - House of Benny in Covina."
